Up from Nothing

While considering how to describe my work on Up from Nothing, I came across this review: “It looks good on my bookcase wall.” So I guess I did my job well. I particularly enjoy working on type-driven covers—the challenges are a test of my typographic knowledge, skills and that type can evoke a story or a message. I especially like the fact that Quincy Jones’s endorsement is included.
